Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program.Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations.Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion.About 10 minutes’ drive from the campsite there are parks suitable for young children in both Ilkley and Skipton. In the immediate vicinity is Hesketh Farm Park, Billy Bobs Diner, where there is outdoor fun and an indoor play barn, the Bolton Abbey steam railway and Bolton Abbey Priory and the river Wharfe, where there is a little beach, several walks suitable for small children and pushchairs and lots of wildlife to explore. Our friendly staff are always on hand to help guests plan their stay so they can make the most of the local area. We always like to listen to customer feedback and as a result have reviewed our policy on rubbish, so customers no longer need to remove their rubbish on departure. You seemed satisfied with this at the time and no other issues were raised during your stay, therefore we find it quite disappointing that you have now posted this negative review. We did everything we possibly could to rectify the situation, including setting the hot tub going for you for which the logs, kindling and firelighters were complimentary. We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service, but occasionally we do make mistakes. We can only apologise again that your pod was not ready for your arrival. Thank you reviewing your recent stay in our dragonfly pod. All in all it was nice, however just didn’t live up to my expectations. I’d say 2 nights is a maximum here before you’re bored. There also wasn’t that much to do in the local area with a relatively young child, however obviously that’s our bad for not researching prior to booking. So on top of the price of the pod itself we spent an additional £40 to go in the hot tub… once. The logs were £8 a bag, kindling, fire lighters and matches were all an added extra.
Again considering how much you pay I would of thought it would be included. Another thing which annoyed me was how everything was an added extra. You need quite a few bags of logs to get it up to temperature. The scenery was lovely, the hot tub is a lovely touch but it is overhyped. The bathroom floor was also super grimy around the shower glass. The pod was clean, however our daughter did find bits of rubbish left over from the previous occupant and even an old dummy from a previous child. I just thought considering the price this would be something taken care of by the housekeeping team. Once we did get in our pod we noticed the sign on the (broken) bin saying that we would need to take all of our rubbish from the pod, down the hill and dispose of it in their bins. The staff were very apologetic however it wasn’t ideal with a grumpy 1 year old. considering the check out time is 10am this was quite frustrating. Once we got up there it was discovered our pod wasn’t even ready yet. A staff member helped us get all of our bags out the car and into the golf buggy to go up the hill to our pod. We arrived on our first day just after 3:30pm which is the check in time on all of my confirmation emails. We recently stayed 3 nights in the dragonfly glamping pod. Again considering how much you pay I would. You need quite a few bags of logs to get it up to temperature.Īnother thing which annoyed me was how everything was an added extra.
